Cell Phones and Technology

1. As you can all see the phone above was the phone we used to used back in the days. I really dont think that i was bon using this phone and i am actually happy because that would of been crazy. Imagine how would this phone was being used.
2. Finally they invented the first cell phone which made eveyone want one because you didnt have to stay at home talking on the phone now you could actually take it out of your house and talk to anyone you wanted whenever you wanted.
3. As technology kept improving more cell phones were being made. That made people want more of the newer versions of their phones. People from all over the world were getting a cell phone.
4. Then as the technology kept improving this touch cell phone came out. And as everyone was amazed that you could use your fingers to move everything. People have never been so amazed.
 5. Last but not least they technology improved more that anoher iphone was coming out and when you least expected people who had the iphone 3 wanted the newer version which was the iphone 4 and that made more people want the newer phone so that they wont feel like if its going out of fashion .

In conclusion i decided to use the phones and technology because this makes people realized how the phones started and once another version come out people just want to buy the newer version to look cool or just because somebody else gets it they want it too.

Euro Trip Movie

My favorite movie is Euro Trip it is directer by Jeff Schaffer. Some of the strs in this movie is Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Travis Wester. I chose this movie because it is funny it gives you alot about love and distance. It interest me because as a girl i see that it is cute that a guy goes all the way to Europe just to tell the girl that he loves her and to forgive him. This is a comedian and a romance. the message to this movie is that it doesnt matter how far you are away form someone you can meet them in person and know that if you meet a person as a paypal in school you shouldnt think bad about the person because you never know maybe you will end up falling in love. This movie was so funny that i would recomend anyone to watch it even though it has some scenes that you shouldnt see but it is funny and you will laugh so hard while watching it.

It's a Scary World pg.172

The cartoon I decided to choose was about two parents that were in their bedroom watching T.V. . While they were watching T.V they realized that the world is a bad place because words start coming to them. They were word like alcohol, drugs, gangs, etc. and the parents then realized that their son might be going through that same path so they go to their bedroom. The son was shocked and he even thought he was dreaming. This cartoon made them realized that they need to take care of their son.

Work

I decided to write about my dream job. My dream job is to be a social worker I decided that this was going to be my career because I want to help children. I want people to have a good home and children should have a good place to live and have a good family. Coming from a family that immigrated was really hard but at the same time I was not rich but I had everything I could but life went on and I don't want other children to go through what I went through.

It Happen to Nancy

It Happen to Nancy, by Anonymous Teenager, was published in 1994 by Beatrice M. Sparks.
The book that I decided to read was about a 14 years old girl named Nancy. Nancy was so excited because she was going to go out with her friends to a concert that she really wanted to go. While she was in the concert she had an asthma attack and in that moment she met a guy named Collin Eagle. They started talking and soon they were both falling in love. Who new that all that was about to change when Nancy invited Collin over to her house, while her mother was out working. Things were cool until Collin decided to rape Nancy. After that Nancy was confused and lost she didn't know what she was going to do. As time went on Nancy found out that Collin lied to her about everything that he told her about him.Nancy moved on from what happen to her. She met Lew a childhood friend and they both fell in love. As time continued to go on Nancy was feeling more and more tired until one day Nancy's mother took her to the doctors and that is when they gave her blood tests.Nancy's results came in and they doctor broke the news to them, Nancy had HIV virus. When Collin raped her he infected her with the virus. She became weaker and weaker until she died. When i read this story it made me realize that it is hard to be in a situation like this. Even though this was a sad book i enjoyed reading it because it made me put myself in their shoes. i am happy i read this book because it made me think a lot about life. How things can happen when you just met someone not knowing who they are or where they come from. I would definately recomend this book to a lot of people because it has to do with real young girls.

Flashpoints

1.       How do politics, economics, religion, gender, or culture contribute to the critical and/or commercial success or failure of a work (film, novel, painting, etc.?  It is going to changed in a big way not just a little because if a film is being insulting people can get offended and that will cause them to go and tell other people and create rumors that can make people not wanting to go and see the movie.
2.       How do these factors help ignite controversy over a work of art? Why and how does once-controversial art become accepted or even considered classic? Because some people might not agree with what they are watching and then that can cause some type of argument.
3.       Were you surprised by anything you saw, or any of the works included on the list? I was a little surprised when they would ask you the questions and then they would ask you if you were still with your answer or if you wanted to change it. It was like if they wanted you to give them the same answer they had.
4.       Can a violent or racist work of art in any form (literature, film, music, visual, etc.) cause someone to act in a violent or racist way? Why or why not. Weigh in with your overall opinion of the issue and this website. I think that it all depends on how you see it. But if they think that someone might get offended they should warn you before you see it so that you wont get mad. There might be occasions that this might happen.

Questions

1.       Are video games a form of art--why or why not? I think it is a way of art because it shows the imagination of other people and it can be something that is made up and is not real.
2.       Did you find any of the images offensive or objectionable? Was it difficult to decide whether or not the image belonged on the homepage? No I didn’t see the images offensive because it is a part of nature it is going to happen. There is also violence in the world. No it was not difficult I just decide if I was a mother of a child and I wouldn’t let my child watch all the violence.
3.       Did any of the quotes from the site sway your decision? In a way they did because if you decide no it would explain to you true and they would want you to something true and they would want you to change your mind and say yes.
4.        What do you think, does the "representation of violence reduce mayhem and murder to an experience designed to entertain"? No because it’s a part of life. I mean cops kill, and there are males that kill females or females that kill males. But it does make a good entertainment for a movie.
5.       Does it provide an acceptable social outlet for our aggression? Well everyone has aggression problems but I don’t see that there is on earth a person who doesn’t get mad or have issues.
