When you have a Facebook you have to have friends.Everyone know that. But how many do you have to have? 10,50, 100 or even more.In Dunbar's essay he says that you have to have to have 150 friend. But i think that it all depend on the person. in my opinion i dont have 150 i only have 26. Think about it if you are a person that doesn't like to talk to people you are most likely not going to have any friends at all. But if you are a person that likes to talk to people then of course you are probably going to have more than 150. People sometimes add other people just because of their friends. some will do it because they need a girfriend/ boyfriend or the just are attractive to someone. But i don't think all that should matter because i have 26 friends and yes i know its a little bit. My friends i talk to everyday expecially because i have like 3 years that i havent seen them. I also have family member that i haven't seen in more than 3 years. So you have to stay close as family because thye are your blood.
Well said Andrea. For people who have those huge friends lists, they probably aren't able to really maintain those friendships. It sounds like you value quality people in your life, versus just quantity and big numbers. Good philosophy of life and good post.//LM
